A village is a place of richness,generosity, dharma – and poverty.
The utter generosity of the poor is disarming. I would never be able to give a glass of rice away to a hungry person if i had just four glasses left at home for me and my children.
That is what needs to be understood – their greatnes and their richness. That is what they are defined by. That they are impoverished is what defines us – and the onus is on us to share completely.
